Tbh Reyna joining the hunters was perfect for her. She’s spent so much of her childhood under stress - especially her teenage years as praetor. I don’t remember what her age actually is (and Rick Riordan probably doesn’t either) but she would be going to college soon either way, or expected to get a job, or maybe expected to join the military.
But as a hunter? She could really be a teenaged girl. Hang out with other teenaged girls. Do what she wants to do (it’s said she loves to hike) with people she liked. She could just live for herself. It’s what she really needs.
